Let's be honest here. I know the OZ doesn't display much intelligence but does this really matter THAT much?? Sony will lose some sales to the 360 in NA and Europe that is for sure. But if its still exclusive in Japan (note most Japanese would probably buy it for PS3 anyways[loyalty]) then I don't think Sony is losing too much. They wanted this in Japan and it will be a system seller. SE is here to make money just like any business. You can't hate them for that.

Why it doesn't really matter is the whole Japanese thing. If it stays exclusive in Japan then Sony really has nothing to worry about. 5 player co-op is still better then 4 which most games have if they have co-op. Resistance 2 hasn't even come out yet so do we really know how well 8 player co-op will work? Maybe 5 was the sweet spot for Gears2?

If this is true then the 360 does need to look out. I know MGS4 came out and WM had a special deal but they still sold 140k more right? Doesn't matter how they do, matters what the #s are at the end of the month. The Wii is a beast but all systems are doing pretty well. I guess the 360 really needed that $50 price cut...even if it is a fire sale.
